Exercise is key to maintaining health and fitness for a longer, happier life, and there are masses of resources available for you to find out what is right for you and what will work best for your body and your lifestyle. Some of the best resources we know are the following:

For general information on health and fitness, the two most comprehensive sites we have found are:
The health section of the BBC website
The health section on Tiscali (you have to root around a bit in this one but there is masses of information there)

For information on every different sport you can think of, where to find them and how to get into them look at: Sport England

For information on government funding and sponsorship try: The Department for Culture, Media and Sport website
OK, you might see this as mostly the government telling us how brilliant they are, but if you dig deeply enough there is a surprising amount of information there and some of it is really useful.
